The air is clear, crisp and cool.

Here is where my heart resides, here is where my heart has grown in favor of the creation around me.

It was here that I watched my parents unravel before me.

It was here that I watched my family's cups overflow, isolation so powerful, it took the air within me.

I hear their cries, and while I was without power then I am here now.

For I have seen their tribulations, I acknowledge their suffering.

The underlining sting of all that weight we have carried, such virtue and such beauty before us.

This is my home, and for this I am thankful.
